Asda’s health & beauty event always gets me excited as it means I can afford to splash out and treat myself to some yummy mummy treats. I was very happy to be asked to review a few of the items that are available in the event.
Garnier Olia
I have been keen to try this hair dye as I have heard some great reviews. I love the Garnier range as I dye my hair often which can leave it looking rather dull and dry but I have always found Garnier to give me ultimate shine and my hair actually feels so much healthier and shiner.
For the first time in home colour, oil does more than condition, it boosts the colouring process. Even without ammonia, a vivid permanent colour & perfect grey coverage. Improves the visible quality of hair – feels 35% softer, looks 17% shinier* The drop-shaped bottle fits perfectly into the palm of the hand, allowing for controlled application. Velvety cream texture and a luxurious subtle fragrance, Garnier has helped transform the colouring routine into a new beauty ritual.
I will be putting this to the test tomorrow when I dye my hair – pictures to follow.
Always Silk Collection
With a teenage girl and the hormones ranging at least I have managed to get something right, choosing her sanitary towels that not only offer ultra protection but are are comfortable fit as lets face it wearing wings is never something we enjoy. The Always silk collection offers super fit, a secure guard against nasty leaks and the best bit – a silky soft top sheet.
Vaseline Cocoa Radiant
I have friends who swear by this moisturiser and I have to admit I am starting to see why, OK so I love chocolate and I am rather happy to be able to smell the aroma of it. From a name you know you can trust Vaseline now offers you a range of that will leave your skin not only glowing but will leave your skin feeling rich. With its multi layer moisture I am hoping this helps lock my tan into place and keeps it for a little bit longer too.
Head & Shoulders
There is nothing worth than snowflakes falling from your hair, its not a classy look yet one I have to get used too unless I use Head & Shoulders. I do often suffer from an irritated scalp but thanks to Head & Shoulders gentle PH formula I can use it as often as I like. It really has made all the difference.
Olay Complete Care Night Cream
I am getting old, lets face it I am no spring chicken and when my own mothers skin looks healthier than mine it gets you thinking. She has used Olay most of her life and here I am testing it myself, I am turning into my mother. She told me she also uses a night time cream so thought OK lets give this a try. I cant have my mother looking more radiant than me, so now we have matching night time creams.
Specially designed to give your skin everything it needs most at night to help improve a healthy look. If its worked for my mum I am crossing my fingers it works for me too.
Will you be trying any of these products? What catches your eye?

I love the hair dye it’s the one I always get xx
Oh is it good? Do you recommend? I will be trying it for the first time tomorrow, sadly dont have time today
Yummy Mummy Products come tell me which you use if any http://t.co/OykYhwnK lets have some yummy mummy chat on the blog
ive tried the olia. which is quite good. but i have thick hair and have to buy two packs, which can prove to be expensive and end up throwing half away!! would be good if they did a bottle and half sized pack for thicker hair, as i know some other mummies that have this problem. I swear by head and shoulders. have always used it. and when they introduced the lemony scent one i was in heaven. lol. i personally have not used Olay yet but at the age of 30 maybe i should. Always silk, i use Always pads when im not pregnant, but usually use the night time pads in the day as they are the only ones that fit my flow. I have a very heavy flow. and its either night time pads of incontinence ones!! their heavy flow pads dont seem to cut it tbh. and I love the vaseline cocoa radiance. i have that bottle open in my bedroom atm. lovely summery feel on a cold winters day and smells gorge. xxx
See Laura once we hit our 30s we start worrying about wrinkles! I dont use tampons as I always worry when I cough they will just pop out ha – I am loving the chocolate moisturiser
