I waited through two pregnancys for “the glow” I was promised…still waiting…
This is so very true! And I’d forgotten about alot of those points!
x
lol so true
Oh the joys! I remember when I was pregnant with my 1st someone said being pregnant was the most magical experience ever!!! Really??? Ummm no now pregnant again and I won’t be doing this again in a hurry!
What a brilliant list, i think this should be shown in schools as part of sex ed!
So many of the things listed above i did not expect…. i never thought pregnancy would cause my gums to bleed. I couldnt reach my legs to shave, i couldnt tie my shoes. I never imagined being pregnant would make some day to day activities challenging…. come the end I could barely get down to change my lil boys nappy. I would get out of breath… luckily i had help from the other half. I did however find out who my true friends were. Alot of my so called friends desserted me once i had children x
i think i had 99% of them! but only new of 10% of them untill they happened. lol
When ttc conceive I think no one really thinks about this things until they happen especially after your first. Must have something to do with the baby brains lol if we all remembered we would only have one child x
This blog should be used alongside the “safe sex” campaign at schools!! Get all your teenage sons and daughters to read!!!! X
so true i didnt expect many of the things listed, they seem to tell u a few but forget some of the the most important ones.
xx
So true lol
All very familiar!! I developed something called Obstetrics Cholestasis (liver condition) and wasn’t prepared for the level of ‘crazy’ that constant itching could drive you. I wanted to rip my own skin off! Worst thing I ever experienced in pregnancy x
So very true, i had forgot most of these x x
oh so many …. where was this list before i got preg lol
i was lucky thorough out my pregancy not to suffer too badly although i can relate to a few thing on this post. i cant wait for my next pregnancy
you planning more?
Haha this is brilliant, it’s like the things they don’t mention before-hand! Have to agree though, as I was reading I was thinking this should be used in schools, show them it’s not all sweet n rosey lol. I didn’t suffer too bad either though thankfully but I have only experienced it once so far :/ x
Yes a leaflet needs to be made for school – best contraception ever
I wish I had read this when i was pregnant, at least i’d of been more prepared lol! xx
For some reason the one thing I didn’t think about was the stretch marks and boy did they come after me! When people say ‘you get every ache and pain going’ you think “yeah maybe at the end but the beginning is fun and easy” Nope, It’s just as painful and full of worry! The joys ay? xx
This is speaking true…. N yes def should be shown in school x
I can relate to a few things on the list and Emma, you forgot “not being able to get up once you sit down and not being able to get out of bed” I remember when my partner used to have to help me up lol x
This made me lol. so true xx
not alot then

So true! Everyone goes on about how magical and special pregnancy is, i personally think its a pain in the bum (literally!) with the trapped nerves, falling asleep everywhere, peeing etc! Love it x
