Suri Cruise hits the headlines again, this time for the heels she is wearing. At 5 years old are high heels really part of her wardrobe? Mine run around in trainers for most part of the day and a 5 year old owning an estimated 130 pairs shocks me.
SURI Cruise steps out in New York in yet another pair of miniature heels.
The fashion-conscious youngster wore the gold spangly shoes, teamed with a red frock and pink handbag, as she headed to a gymnastics class in the city with mum Katie Holmes.
Stylish Suri — who also clutched a doll wrapped in a silk scarf — is rumoured to own more than 130 pairs of shoes, many of which are custom-made.
Katie and dad Tom Cruise have come under fire for allowing their five-year-old to parade around in heels.
Health experts warn such footwear can have a damaging impact on a growing child’s trotters.
And if Suri is serious about her gymnastics, she’ll be wanting to take care of those toes.

if i had a daughter i wouldnt let her wear heels for out and about, just for dress up. i cant be good for her feet or balance and she could easily injure herself- speaking from experience!
I don’t think it makes them bad parents, i’m sure that child doesn’t want for anything. However, i do think that its not appropriate for a child of that age to wear such grown up clothes, and it can’t be healthy for her growing limbs.
I think it’s completely inappropriate. I haven’t seen the article but my sister texted me this morning to say there was a photo of Suri with her hair all styled, wearing lipstick and high heels and carrying a handbag. I think it’s fine for little girls to dress up in the house but to let a five year old think that it is normal to go out dressed like that is wrong. And very naïve of her parents to think that the world is a suitable place for a little girl dressed in that way. I think it’s shocking x
I think its fine there hardly high. I wore higher jelly shoes at that age. They were my fav shoes. Not like she in them everyday. In celbrity world you get critisised for anything you do and from when she was first was labbeled best dressed celeb child so obviously puts pressure on kate to keep up the name etc. If they was bit higher and had them on everyday fair enough
very innapropriate and they are gonna damage her feet….for dress up around the house for short times fine but not long periods on the park etc
I think its wrong, the only time reanne dresses up in stuff like that are them pretend shoes, she asked for lipgloss too but I’d never take her out wearing all thta, they only copy there moms, yes I wear make up do my hair but I wouldn’t take her out wearing it lol.. Its a bit of fun for her at times.. As for heels god knows how old I was b4 my mom let me av a tiny heel lol xx
I think its wrong, the only time reanne dresses up in stuff like that are them pretend shoes, I’d never take her out in heels, jeez I was like how old wen my mom would even buy me a pair at least 11 lol.. N thet were only a bit raised nt heels lol x
Very inappropriate defo gives out the wrong message why are children in such a rush to grow up
extremly in appropriate. shes 5 for goodness sake, if it was for dressing up then yes by all means let her have the ones designed for childrens feet not proper ones. i have seen the harm this can do to childrens feet. my sister wore heels from 7 years old and now suffers with flat feet and a bad back caused by wearing high heels at a young age as it put pressure on her still growing bones. i didnt wear high heels until i turned 15, and still to this day i very rarely wear them. yes they are good for posture and if you have a trapped nerve in your back. but they are not good for young growing children.
I.think.its wrong.if i had a girl wouldn’t dream of.letting them wear.shoes.like that out….kids are growing up to.quickly now a days x
