For those who follow and read my blog you will have no doubt noticed I post quite very regualy. If there was an award for the manic blogger, it has my name on it.
Some have questioned the high number of posts I write each day and some have even suggested I may post too many. I disagree, agree but this blog will continue to be rather a manic one, why? Because I am a manic person full of ideas and I run my life at a fast pace, so the blog just runs quite happily along with me and also my readers enjoy the madness of it all too, or they seem to.
Now while posting 4/5 blog posts each day is not for everybody, I love being that little bit different. Most blogs post daily or weekly, so why not stand out from the crowd and do things differently?
I attract new visitors quite frequently: 394 a day so my Stats tell me
Fresh new posts give people a reason to come back to your blog, but these also help your blog with search engine optimization. For every new post you publish you are giving a reason for people to come and read your blog. The more you have, the more chance that you you will gain readers. Now while posting new content regualy in itself is difficult ( you can find me still up at 2am finishing off writing the next days posts), you also have to ensure that the quality of the posts are of high highish standard. Nobody wants to read slap dashed posts – or maybe they do as some of mine are much to be desired.
I keep coming across the words determine your blog goal, to be honest the goal I have is to help others so I am not really sure where this applies to me. But if you are wanting to achieve high traffic, high new visitors then I can only assume posting frequently is the way to go.
So bloggers how often should you update your posts?
Are you in a routine when it comes to blogging?
Please don’t run away before leaving a comment have you not read this?
wait wait wait ….
Also while you are here, HELLO, have you said hi to me on Twitter yet? It can be quite lonely on there at times
so be sure to send me a Hello tweet – also have you added your blog to my Blog Directory? I regularly tweet it out to all my followers, so you may just get some new readers.
Right now all that’s done, you can go … but be sure I will be posting again real soon

Wow, 4-5 posts a day? If you can do that, then that’s awesome! I stick to posting 3 times a week. That’s just what I’m comfortable with right now.
Interesting. I never have any idea how much I should post. I’m fairly new to blogging and soooo worried about boring people , but I’m a bit like you in that I’m full of manic energy and ideas that i just want to write down as fast as possible. So far I’m holding back to about 5 posts per week but have no idea if that’s seen as too many or too few – hell, I can’t even work out how to add those button things to my blog and am so confused by the whole mummy blogging network sites that the ettiquette of posting is one more thing to fret about. Off to read some more of your posts now.

oh ignore and if you feel like like posting then post away x
I aim for one post a day. I find if I post more than one I get no comments, so I stick to one a day. I usually write several in a day and then schudule them, so I can spend more time interacting via social media and supporting the posts I have put out. It’s taken me a while to find a routine that works. It’ will probably all change at some point! I think for me because my topic area is reasonably narrow I only have enough fodder for one a day.
ATM kids are on school hols and I don’t seem to find the time as I am reading your blogs lol. Am not even sure if I’m on your blog roll so off to look.

I have been trying to post at least 1 post a day. I am new to blogging and must admit finding the time what with being a Mum, wife and working as a nurse too hard. However it is some what addictive. I am also new to Twitter and again I am quite enjoying reading tweets and checking out each day to see if my followers are increasing. However I am in my livingroom with just the dog and everyone is upstairs sleeping so maybe 1 post a day is enough for me
Oh gosh….. I don’t think I would have the energy to do 4-5 a day
My average I guess is about 3 a week. Sometimes can do more.
I like the updates x
I love seeing new blogs daily
