Guest blogging has so many beneficial features, I feel every blogger should be looking into either writing more guest posts or offer guest blogging on their own blogs, or like do both.
There are 2 types of Guest Blogging:
Offer Guest Blogging on your blog: Another blogger will write a post and you place this post onto your own blog, linking back to the blogger. This brings the writer more traffic to their blog and you gain some fresh new content for your readers.
Guest Blog On Another Blog: You write a post and include pictures and links and ask another blogger to place it on their blog. You will then give those blog’s readers and followers a chance to come and look at your own blog.
How do you find a blog to guest blog on? Many of the blogs will have a Guest Blogging page or failing that if you find a blog that you feel you would like to guest post on, just email the blog owner, you have nothing to loose, they can only say no. The blogg’s owner will then submit the post out to their readers, you too can advertise that you have guessed blogged, therefore you are getting 2 different audiences.
Which ever you choose there are only gains to achieve, it is a very effective way in growing your reading audience.
Always remember to include your blog address and Twitter name too.
Guest blogging is beneficial for both bloggers involved. It helps to grow traffic for both blogs and helps build blogger relationships. Don’t be afraid to ask for guest posts from bloggers who you enjoy reading (and of course who you think can write a great post relevant to your blog’s audience) or to ask if you can write guest posts for them. Go out and start asking.
