There has only been a little bit of research that has looked at women faking orgasms, and there is no scientific research yet on how often or how many men fake orgasms.

- In a study of Danish women 68% said they had faked an orgasm
- In Shere Hite’s famous survey of women 34% said they currently faked orgasms and 19% said they used to fake orgasms.
I have faked orgasms in the past, sometimes to just get it over and done with, mostly because I did not like the person (ex husband). Women fake orgasms to make their partner feel like they have satisfied them when they had not, maybe they are actually not that great in the sack, or are far too quick. Men really do get a huge complex in the bedroom, so we like to keep them happy. Sometimes teaching them what will give us an orgasm is difficult, as they then think they are failures. It is difficult to sit your partner down and say ” By the way your not hitting the spot”.
Lots of people think they can tell if their partner is faking orgasms, but research suggests otherwise. In one study where 19% of women said they faked orgasms, only 16% of their male partners believed they faked orgasms.
Whether women like to admit it or not, I am betting many have faked an orgasm at least once!

i got to be honest i never orgasmed with my previous partner in the 4 years we were together and i dont think he was even bothered if i had or not i never even knew woman could come lol, im then i met my husband who i have been with for 10 years and im quite lucky cause my husband pleases me in ways i never knew existed he always makes sure i get mine before he does, hes always on the net looking at things to make me come its never the same thing he always has things he wants to try out and i think thats why it works so well with him
I’ve NEVER and WILL NEVER fake an orgasm- the way I see it is, if he isn’t doing it right, I show him- I dont pretend he is, otherwise i’d end up spending all my life faking and hating… Men need to be SHOWN what to do!! – FRANKLY- If he isnt good enough im not wasting my time making him feel like he is

I can honestly admit I have done this a few times with an ex (He was abusive) and I just wanted him away from me as quick as possible and he never knew.

oh dear i have to admit im guilty of this in the past, mostly just wanting it to end with the wrong partner and afraid to say. since being in a loving relationship i havnt needed to and if i ever felt i did, i would say something xx

I think alot of women fake it, or say that they have had an orgasm when they havent.

Guilty! Its not for the ‘I want it over’ its because my fella though I want 4 or 5 orgasms everytime we had sex!! Until I put him right on what I want and since then I’ve not and its been fab

I have faked many orgasms, most with my current partner, heis young (18) and very quick! After a while i actually sat down and told him that his timing was out (i never told him i faked orgasms though!) so i suggested alot of foreplay before having sex, and to my relife, he was able to bring meoff before we had sex, so nowits more like, please me, and then ill please you LOL <3
i 100% agree with calley, i have never and will never faked an orgasam, i have been with my oh for 8 years now and luckily i have never had to even think about faking it but if he didnt ‘satisfy’ me i would tell him and id work with him to make sure he does next time. x

I totally agree with Calley if a man isn’t doing it right they need to be shown but obviously in your case Emma it was normal and I’d do the same.
Personally I’ve never faked an orgasm because I’ve never had to (tmi I know lol) but my husband likes to be told what to do if he’s going wrong because then we can both enjoy it!! x
